Nature showing the way

In my last post I wrote how I had hit a brick wall, lost my gardening mojo. Down to the fact slugs and snails had ate everythink even the stuff I grew from seed.

I started to give up on my passion in life.
Just like I did when I was fourteen years old, which made me very much sad.

Then somethink beautiful happened - nature.
Nature took complete over and I didn't really mind either...

Nature shown me to not give up, not even to give up on your dreams.

This is how the well nature took over.

My Aloe Vera's in my mini greenhouse that is falling to pieces slowly.

I am amazed how well the Rhapsody in Blue has done this year... If your wondering where I got it from here is the link - https://grovesnurseries.co.uk

I'm not happy about the rose I bought from local Morrison's store. The rose I bought was the Queen Elizabeth Rose for £5.00 , but to me it looks like the rose as died, actually when I planted it there was not much of a root on it either.

My little tea plant!

Next post will be how I have saved a tomato plant..

Having a off spell

Back in May I wrote about my plan to use up most or all of my seed stash.

I started off well, then one night while I was at work on my break I got a call from my mum to say the garden is covered with snails and slugs.
I was horrified to hear that!

So I ordered nemaslug and two days after it arrived I made the formula up and watered my garden.

Then that night and the next few nights I was out collecting them up in a 5ltr clear empty water bottle.

At one point it creeped me out....

So as you can guess they ate everythink I grew from seed. I was so heartbroken, I think I must be still.

So today is Friday 22nd of July and I have hit a all time low, fed up with how the garden looks..

I'm seriously hoping I snap out of it soon..
Only time will tell.

All Seeds Out!

If you follow my crafting blog you will know how I am trying to clear out my craft supplies.

So it won't be such of a surprise, that is what I am hoping to do with all my seeds.  Shocker right? A true gardener wouldn't do that I hear you say...

Well honestly I don't want to de-stash.
But every season I like most of you, I buy most of the gardening magazines which give more free seeds.

So how bad is it really - well here is the proof!

Some of the packets I just can't find, down to the fact - I've stashed them away.... Well and truly!

Over the coming weeks I'll let you know how I get on..

Life

I noticed the first week of December on twitter and on my local news, how everywhere had spring flowers out..

Then on the 15th of December my family and myself went to Wales to visit friends and pick up our new family member (Which I will write about soon).

Anyway on our way through Yeovil, we came across daffodils right along the road for a few miles. I honestly tried so hard to get a photo - but failed!!!

Then a few days before - well it was a few nights before Christmas week I noticed, Life in my little garden.

Saint Johns wort

Rasphy in Blue rose

Rhododendron

Flowers out on Fushia's and Geranium's

Even the hyacinth's have popped up.. Not bad as I bought these last year at my local Morrison's  store for 15p each was £2 they were reduced!

At the time I was ill so I could not get any pictures.

A New Year!

First of all I just want to wish everyone a happy new year and I hope you all had a good time over the festive period?

Sorry it's been a while since I have posted anythink on here.

So what are my plans for 2016?
This is my plan.

• Tropical Weymouth
• Reviews
• All Seeds out

I will be working on the above.

I also need to look into dog friendly plants as well.
As I now have a dog, who loves eating everythink in sight..  My cats don't seem so fuss as long as they have grass to eat.
